Mahendra Swarup, Chief Mentor
An MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Mahendra
was last the Head of Private Treaties initiative of Times of India Group.
He has held prestigious positions like the Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer of Times Internet Limited (Indiatimes.com) and Executive Director
of Pepsi India. During his 30 years of business experience, he has held
corporate responsibilities in blue-chip companies like ACC, Nestle India,
Sun Breweries–Moscow and PepsiCo India at the senior-most functional
levels.
Harish Bahl – Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Harish, an engineering graduate in Computer Sciences is a serial
entrepreneur. In 1999, he founded Smile, one of India's first Internet Business
Solutions Companies. Over the last eight years, he has laid the foundation
to Smile Interactive Technologies Group, which has developed leading business
ventures like StudioSmile, Quasar, Tyroo, Zoomtra & Zumtra.
His previous ventures included, Creons Advertising (amongst top three Indian
retail infrastructure companies) and Dial-A-Meal (food delivery Service
Company).
Harish is considered a thought leader on the subjects of digital technology,
interactive advertising, online travel, and entrepreneurship. He is a regular
speaker at various forums for the same.
He is an active member of NASSCOM and IAMAI and proactively represents
the Indian Internet community for addressing issues related to the growth
and smooth functioning of the industry with various regulatory bodies.
Manish Vij, Co-founder & Chief Business Officer
Manish, an MBA, is one of the youngest dotcom entrepreneurs with India’s
first auction web site, kabadibazaar.com. Prior to Co-founding Smile Interactive
Technology Group he has worked with India’s largest portal, Rediff.com,
for over 4 years. During his stay at Rediff he has held various key functional
responsibilities like Media sales, Rediff Mobile, Pay4Clicks and Premium
Mail services. He is recognized as one of the strongest digital media
professionals in the country, and carries very strong relationships in
the Industry with both advertisers and publishers.
CP Singh, Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer
CP Singh (popular as CP), is a post-graduate in advanced hardware and
a graduate in Computer Sciences. He has over 10 years of experience in
managing Internet technology projects for some of the world’s leading
brands such as General Electric, Sony, LG. His successful projects include
developing technology for Makemytrip (India’s largest travel portal),
developing e-commerce platform for Lgezbuy (India’s largest e-commerce
site) and implementing India’s first rich media initiatives on major
Indian portals. In his current role as SITG’s CTO, he is focusing
on product management and mentoring technology for start-ups. His primary
role is to identify innovative ways to improve operation productivity
through new technologies, systems, methods and controls.
